Back from the East coast

Hi!
Sorry for the delay, we are just now feeling a little back to normal.
Travel is rough!
I cannot believe I have been a flight attendant for so many years.
I am SO out of practice,
and the possibility of going back to work in March is daunting (to say the least!)

We had a FANTASTIC time hanging out with Trey's family over the Thanksgiving holiday.
It was sad to leave.
I really wished we all lived just a little closer :(
Especially for the cousins,
they had a blast together!

Here are some pictures from the trip:
The kids did great on the flights...even sleeping a little and giving Mommy a break!

Leighton, Amelie, and Tristan

Leighton desperate to get her hands on Tristan...

Getting closer...

And she sticks to him like glue..."gotcha!"

Awww, sweet babies!

Grandpa Jim (Liam's rough house buddy!)

Back to reality and a new week starts!
We put up a few decorations for Christmas today
and will probably finish the rest over the course of the week.
I have A LOT of decorations!!
I really miss the Kolbe Family :(
It's not the same driving down the block and seeing a dark house next door!
The Kolbe's were always the first to have the Christmas lights shining brightly.
I am asking Santa this year to transfer Kit back to Colorado ASAP!
It never hurts to ask...

Our doorbell rang this morning, and who was at the door?
Christopher Popinkins (aka the Elf on a Shelf)

His job is to watch the kids until a few days before Christmas
and report back to Santa.
Liam said, "but he's just a statue, how is he going to do that?"
Smarty pants!
When we told him that he only stays still during the day and plays at night...
he gave me a funny look...
I am pretty sure we are going to give Liam nightmares
and cause to come into our room at night...

Stayed tuned for more tales of our little elf!
Time for me to head to bed...
good night to all!
Sweet dreams, xoxo
