One of Leighton's main food groups, "tetchup"!
Leighton LOVES "tetchup"! She liked it so much the other night, she picked up her plate and started licking it. This was after she tried to get every ounce with her hand, and then rubbed it all over her chin & cheeks. She dipped her grilled cheese in it. She dipped her watermelon in it. She only dipped one raspberry in it. Which must mean that raspberries ruin the delicious flavor of our Heinz, organic tomato goodness. Of course, after she had managed to consume every last visible bit of ketchup, she turned to me and said, "More tetchup! Pleeeeeeeease Mommy!" I said, "Why don't you eat some of your acorn squash. Mommy put butter and sugar in it." She looked at the squash, then back at me. "Put tetchup in it?" And with a sweet face like that, Trey probably would have caved.
