Weather change = sleepy kids, grumpy bears

Good Morning!  And Happy Friday!
I just threw a 7.5 pound, bone in, pork shoulder in the crock pot to cook for the next 8-9 hours.
I'll use half of it for shredded BBQ pork sandwiches, topped with cole slaw...
The other half I'll shred and save for tacos or enchiladas.
Pictures later...

Last night was supposed to be Liam's end of year soccer party at our local park.
Unfortunately, there were high wind warnings and we had to postpone the festivities until Sunday night.
Here is a team photo (minus one little boy) with Trey as head coach!

Because Trey and I have been together for over 9 years, I can read this expression on his face:
"I am NEVER going to volunteer to coach another sport for my kids again!"
His smile says, "happy" but his eyes say, "what in the heck am I doing here?!"
This picture makes me smile...okay, this makes me laugh really hard ;)

Thank goodness our party was postponed last night.  Liam fell asleep on the couch at 5:30...
I carried him upstairs at 6:00, put his pj's on, and he continued to sleep until 6:30 this morning!
Leighton was exhausted too.  She took her bath, and settled in front of the fireplace at 7pm to watch a little Backyardigans...

She LOVES her new Pottery Barn Kids anywhere chair!  A joint birthday present from both sides of the family.  The only kicker with this precious little chair, is that it took nearly 2 months to get it...and this isn't the chair I initially ordered.  Thank goodness PBK has amazing customer service and I actually think I like this chair better than my first choice.

Leighton slept until nearly 8:00am this morning.  She is getting ready to go down for her nap now...
Man, is she a bear today!
Growth spurt, 2 year molars, change in the weather?
Whatever it is, I hope it passes soon, because I can hardly take another head knocking-temper tantrum from my sweet little 2 year old princess...
