Lazy Sunday...

No snow today, but still a chill in the air...
Trey is on his way home from the airport and L&L are more than ready to see their Daddy!
We live this sort of idyllic/unrealistic life and it's really hard on the babies when one of us is gone.
Since Trey works from home and I am still on furlough from United
(until March 2012)
We are all home together, all of the time, 24/7.
It's a good thing we all really like each other ;)

After slaving over my first ever cake pops with the kiddos last night...

I had to improvise for the "cake pop holder" until I buy some Styrofoam...

I learned a few lessons (of course) and need to add a little extra flavor next time.
But, it was fun and they turned out pretty yummy.

This morning we made a batch of easy peasy pumpkin pancakes

1 cup Aunt Jemima buttermilk pancake mix
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
3/4 cup milk

Topped with little butter and syrup, the kids had happy tummies after breakfast,
asked to be excused,
and started screaming and wrestling each other in the family room...

After cleaning up the mess, and separating the screaming children, we went into the playroom and started our daily dress up.

This is the area I made for all of their costumes.  Since they use their costumes almost daily, this area has really come in handy.
I used 3M command hooks.  Super simple & quick!

And I stuck a full length mirror on the wall on the other side of the room.
Fun times!

Trey is home, Leighton is going down for a nap, and I am going to clean the master bathroom, and soak for awhile in the tub...I NEED that!
Have a fantastic day!
